Scale Precision Paint Masks are designed to be the highest quality, most historically accurate masks available. Each set was developed through extensive material research as well as consultation with historians and period aircraft restoration experts.
Nothing can reproduce the realistic look of a painted surface like a painted surface can. Paint masks allow you to add effects that decals just don't allow such as sun fading on exposed upper surfaces, realistic uneven, chipped or worn paint jobs, and yellowing or greying of whiter colors. These small details really give the professional modeler that needed edge to stand out.
