About Us
Scale Precision Paint Masks was started by a retired Special Forces Master Sergeant with a love of history and scale modeling.

We produce paint masks mainly in 1:32 and larger scales and specialize in WWII era aircraft masks. If you see a mask listed as 1:32 or 1:24 scale and require something larger, just ask and we will reproduce it. I have produced masks for remote control aircraft in 1:5 and 1:4 scale and have even been asked to do a full scale F4U for a friend in the restoration business. We offer generic mask sheets of country specific insignia, letters, and numbers derived from multiple sources such as military Technical Orders (T.O.), Air Ministry Orders (A.M.O.), and national standards such as the Deutsche Industrienorm (German Industry Standard font for aircraft). Although these standards were published to the forward units, variations always existed and this is where our aircraft specific masks depict exactly what was painted on the actual aircraft.

Our paint masks are designed in house and cut from an extremely precise industrial plotter. We use a professional quality, semi-translucent, low-tack adhesive vinyl specifically produced for paint masking.

While I don't claim to be perfect, I do strive to be with my paint masks. Please let me know if you have any discrepancies with a mask and I will get it fixed.
